Grant Applications
Community groups and organisations who meet the following criteria are eligible to apply for a NPA programme funding assistance grant:
- Be situated in and service the Nelson, Tasman and Marlborough regions.
- Are a registered education provider or a not-for-profit legal entity.
- Applications will only be considered for activities that are yet to take place or for equipment yet to be purchased.
- Applications from groups who have already received funding from previous funding rounds, will only be considered for this funding round if evaluation documentation has been completed and received by the NPA team.
- Higher priority will be given to those projects benefiting lower socioeconomic communities.

- Login and submit your Grant Application
Note: If you have previously submitted a grant application from this web site, you do not need to register your organisation again. You should go straight to step 3 and use your existing client number and password.
- Once your grant application has been submitted, it is processed and held until the funding round closes.
- The working groups then meet to evaluate all applications in each category and make recommendations on which should be funded.
- Applications approved for funding will then be sent a contract via mail.
- Successful applicants are then required to sign the contract and return to NPA together with an invoice for the agreed amount.
- Those applications declined will receive notice via mail.
- Following completion of the project, organisations are required to complete and return an evaluation form before they will be considered for any further funding. These evaluations may be used for publicity purposes.
